STONEHOPE Entertainment was founded 2009 by Alexander Steinhoff and joined 2010 by Alexander de Lukowicz. Both team-up to pursue development and production mostly of their own screenplays.

A second branch of the company acts as a sales agent for independent feature films and documentaries from all over the world, to help find distribution for them in the German speaking regions (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Alexander Steinhoff started his career as an intern in a film production company mainly for TV commercials in Hamburg. He made his way to becoming a producer, before a three month trip to China, where he taught as an honory professor on a film arts university, made him rethink his career options. Beneath STONEHOPE Entertainment, today Steinhoff as well is an EP at INFECTED Postproduction GmbH, a postproduction house in Hamburg since 2010.

Alexander de Lukowicz is a freelance editor. He started in the advertising industry as well and soon got pushed into filming and editing making-ofs and TV commercials. He started writing screenplays in 2009 on STONEHOPE’s first writing gig “EVIL PARK”.

In 2010 de Lukowicz and Steinhoff had their directing debut with the Short-Thriller “THE HOUSE ON ARCH LANE”. Learn more about it in the projects-section on this page.
